Blushing beauty
Residential project
A large-scale cottage home renovation in a quaint West Yorkshire village, surrounded by plush greenery.
BRIEF
Throughout the project, it was important to create a kitchen space which was a luxurious and practical spot for our clients, Richard & Joy, while reflecting their warm, welcoming nature to create a homely, inviting ambience for extended family, friends & lovely pooch ‘Winston’.
DESIGN
The soft, blush pink Aga is the focal point for the kitchen, the traditional forms of the stove are a nod to the heritage of the home while the clean lines of the stone clad mantle are a juxtaposed contemporary twist. The pink tones are replicated on the large, storage abundant island, and pantry & breakfast cabinets. The tall storage provides ample space for worktop appliances, dry food, glassware & crockery, while continuing the aesthetic of the kitchen internally. A sweeping sink run acts as additional prep space while benefitting from the views of the landscaped gardens. Beside the dining space a complementary walnut wine wall is a striking feature with soft illumination.
PROJECT FEATURES
The project features the Darling Maeve ‘Harewood’ & ‘Lister’ doors in our signature paint colours, ‘Nithered’ & ‘Rambling Rose’, Atlas Plan sintered stone worktops & backsplash, Aga stove, Westin extractor, Quooker boiling water tap, Abode mixer tap & Joseph Giles hardware.
