Into the Blue
Residential project
This old post office has been carefully restored to it’s historic beauty and has formed a comfortable family home in an idyllic location.
BRIEF
The clients asked for a contemporary, multi-purpose space with sleek, clean lines to be distinguished by the use of blue veneer and metallic finishes.
DESIGN
A striking back run of furniture includes a large pantry cabinet, with ample storage for food and crockery, sitting alongside a cooking zone, with a gently veined white backsplash softening liquid metal clad wall cabinets above. The large island with breakfast bar seating forms the perfect spot for socialising by seamlessly flowing into the dining section of the home, while a glass shelved display area provides space for personal touches and family photos.
PROJECT FEATURES
This project features the Darling Maeve handmade furniture with the Hepworth door in blue washed Birds eye maple doors, Denver oak MFC interiors, Quartz worktop and backsplash, liquid metal cladding, Neff appliances and Westin extraction with a co-ordinating sideboard with wine cooler.
