Residential project
A suburban home underwent a renovation to create a practical, yet homely retreat from day-to-day life for the whole family.
BRIEF
Due to the scale of the multi-room project, our designers invested large amounts of time with the clients, both in the showroom and on site, building a relationship and gaining a detailed understanding of each family members personalised needs. The communal family rooms were to be thoughtfully designed, forming harmonious spaces with subtle natural connections to the rest of the house.
DESIGN
The large kitchen, dining & living space forms the ‘hub’ of the home, with a relaxed, yet highly social layout in striking, dramatic finishes, perfect for entertaining. A secret pantry is concealed behind sleek lamella wall panelling, keeping the main kitchen free of worktop appliances and freeing up valuable cabinet space. Complementary dining table, media wall & utility also add to the functionality and aesthetic of the space.
A separate lounge acts as a cosier sanctuary for movie nights, with a media wall & tech cabinet in a range of rich materials & textures.
Two office spaces were carefully considered for our clients, with personalised storage and desk spaces, the mezzanine office also doubles as a gaming spot with space for a collection of retro game consoles.
With 3 sons of varying ages, each have their own distinctively designed rooms and bespoke furniture, with storage space and open shelving for their own style expression and personal touches.
A large master bedroom and dressing room complete the project with thoughtfully considered use of texture, tones and lighting. Paired with soft, earthy tones and organic materials, a truly luxurious suite is formed.

The kitchen project features SieMatic S2 furniture in imitation wood & smartlaque velvet-matt finishes, quartz worktops with Dekton backsplash & dining table, Neff appliances, BORA hob & extraction, Quooker boiling water tap, black lamella panelling & Kartell bar stools.
The utility & pantry feature complementary SieMatic SLC furniture.
The lounge features SieMatic furniture in imitation wood and metallic laminate with SieMatic laminate worktops & Casamance wallpaper.
The sons’ bedrooms, offices & dressing room feature Sangiacomo furniture in Melamine & Matt lacquer finishes.
The Master bedroom features Sangiacomo furniture, Casamance wallpapers & bronze antique mirror.
