After weeks spent poring over their fabulous website, we decided to step into the Grid thirteen showroom. I’m not even sure we were planning on buying a kitchen that day, but from the moment we met Rebecca and Natalie, it was like coming home. From Rebecca’s incredible eye for design and detail, to Natalie’s knowledge and inspiring product guidance, we knew this would end up being one of the best decisions we ever made. So much time was taken to truly understand how we needed this space to work for both entertaining large numbers of guests, as well as being the perfect part of the house to be together as a family. The fitting process was excellent, even after we had to push the installation date back a few times due to delays with other parts of the build, and the aftercare has been second to none. We now have an open plan kitchen, dining area, and media space that I only thought was possible in my dreams. There really is no place like home, and Natalie and her wonderful team have been such a big part in creating ours.

Grid thirteen was the third company we talked to about our dream kitchen in our new build home.
The difference in the management of the design and build was apparent from the start. The initial approach was very thorough and different to how we had worked before but we now fully understand how learning about our family and how we live was the best first step to creating a space that worked entirely the way we do.
We are not creative enough to put colour schemes and textures together which is why the previous two attempts didn’t work for us. We wanted to be given inspiration and ideas and that is exactly what we received from Natalie and Rebecca.
When we saw the draft designs we were desperately looking for things that didn’t work or we didn’t like. We didn’t find any and we virtually followed their design fully.
As we expected, there were a couple of snagging issues. It was a painless process to resolve them, no battles or difficulties, everything was dealt with quickly and professionally, seamless.

When we started planning the project for our new home, we visited a large number of kitchen showrooms before making our final decision. That being said when we went into Grid 13 we knew immediately that not only we were impressed with the product but also that we could work with both Natalie and her team.

One of the final pieces in the renovation of our home was to choose the Kitchen, the look, feel, ergonomics and practicality had to work. There are a multitude of suppliers providing excellent products, but finding a company who offered the right products and expertise proved more difficult until we found Grid Thirteen. Tony took our vision, listened to what we wanted and provided a number of design ideas, which didn’t just include the kitchen furniture and appliances he had some great input into the room details that enhanced the overall design. On a practical note they were sympathetic to our budget constraints, were always quick to respond and provided very skilled installers.
I would have no reservations in recommending Grid Thirteen to anyone, I would positively encourage it!

I was having a family room added to my kitchen and was opening the space to make it open plan, so it all flowed through, from the kitchen, to the family room and in to the dining room. I decided to change my kitchen from a classic painted kitchen with an AGA to a contemporary style.
I decided to use Ben Huckerby for the interiors, who I have used in the past. When I visited his showroom in Leeds, in the entrance was a Siematic kitchen display, which Grid Thirteen had designed and installed, it looked amazing, with a wow factor.
I had looked at a few other kitchen showrooms but this had the wow…!!
Ben arranged for me to have a meeting with Natalie in their fabulous showroom on Street Lane, Leeds. Natalie went through my wish list and a design was put together.
From our first meeting, Natalie was very professional and very helpful with choice etc. We worked closely with Ben and put this amazing colour scheme together to compliment the kitchen.
Once the designs were ready, I visited the showroom for my presentation and was shown my kitchen in 3D on the television screen, it looked amazing.
The kitchen arrived and Richard and his team of fitters fitted the kitchen in a couple of days, they were fantastic, they came back to adjust a couple of things, with no hesitation.
Natalie even came one morning to cook a meal in my steam oven, to show me how easy it was to operate.
It’s an amazing working kitchen that flows and looks the part too, I would recommend Natalie and her team from Grid Thirteen every time.

We just wanted to let you know how delighted we are with our new kitchen, we absolutely love it! We waited such a long time to replace our kitchen so we knew that we wanted the best design team and a quality brand that could help us design our dream kitchen that will stand the test of time but worried that our budget would limit us to the high street kitchen company. However, a friend recommended Grid Thirteen who said that you can work with any budget but warned us once I came to the showroom you wouldn’t need to look anywhere else! My friend was right.
After meeting with Natalie I knew from the outset that with her knowledge and vision that I was going to get the perfect kitchen for our family. We didn’t have a pile of magazines with ideas circled, I just explained what type of cook I am (very messy), the type of gatherings we have and how we wanted a space to work as a hub for cooking, socialising, homework, chilling out and dining. Natalie and Rebecca presented us with two ideas both of which took us by surprise as it was using the space so more efficiently than we had imagined. The idea’s you came up with dramatically improved the way in which the space is used.
Design, planning and choosing our finishes was easy because the design team were so knowledgeable about the products and could answer any questions or queries we had. I trusted their design choices and the ideas for decoration to compliment the kitchen was spot on. The fitting was painless and went ahead without a hitch; the standard of fitting is another level! The quality of the kitchen speaks for itself and it didn’t take us long to get to grips with the 'techy' appliances – we love them.
We got the kitchen of our dreams and a kitchen that works like a dream. We have no hesitation in recommending Grid Thirteen to friends.

After a considerable amount of research, we approached Grid Thirteen to design the kitchen in our new house as we felt the existing cluttered and gloomy arrangement didn’t really suit our needs. We received a warm welcome from Tony at the show room which was a great start to the process and once the measurements were taken we were invited back to the showroom to view the designs.
We were really impressed with the designs as Tony had taken on board our thoughts and designed the kitchen layout accordingly. Furthermore, he had created some great ideas for a coffered ceiling with recessed lighting to add some interest to the high ceiling. Also, after some demonstrations in
the showroom we felt the Quooker boiling water tap and concealed Bora extractor made them a must have, both from a design and practicality point of view.
With regard to the installation itself, we required the entire job to be project managed and to be completed as swiftly as possible which the team
carried out successfully. The fitter was highly skilled and paid great attention to detail ensuring everything was to the highest standard. In closing, we are delighted with the finished product and would highly recommend the team at Grid Grid Thirteen.

Without a doubt the kitchen is the hub to a home. Well it is to me. Designing the kitchen was the most important part of putting my new home together. Like most of us I knew what I wanted in terms of making it an inviting space, an area my children would enjoy an area which was relaxing, creative and where I knew I would spend the majority of my time. The kitchen was part of my big project in building my new home. I had shopped around and met lots of different designers – I knew early on that SieMatic was the make I wanted as it is without a doubt an amazing product – getting the right person to help me create my vision was the part I needed the most.
Natalie was a fantastic person to work with. Why? Because she got my vision and understood how the things that matter to me could be created. Her approachable style, down to earth, realistic and most importantly her attention to detail made me buy both my kitchens from Grid Thirteen (I’ve got a spice kitchen too)! Behind any good leader is a good team and this speaks volumes in the staff that support the work of Grid Thirteen. Having built a house and worked with every trade made me realise how important service is. The service we received was second to none. The kitchen arrived and installed as promised. The fitters were efficient and reliable.

One of the aspects that we were most pleased with was the quality of builders, electricians, plumbers and kitchen fitters recommended to us. Without exception, they were highly skilled and professional; well-mannered and tidy. Any unavoidable hitches in the process were dealt with straight away and with the minimum amount of fuss.
The kitchen fitted seamlessly into a large room; the MDF frames are perfectly fitted and ensure that the room looks finished and contrasts the modern style of the kitchen with the traditional features of the room which we so desperately wanted to retain.
The units are sturdy but elegant and some of the smaller details such as the plug sockets and cupboard space utilisation are useful and space-economic.
The Siemens appliances are quiet and work brilliantly; I certainly expected to find the transition to an induction hob more challenging after cooking exclusively on an AGA for twelve years!
The site was left tidy but the included cleaning service afterwards was thorough and like all the work, organised at the time we needed it.
I recommend SieMatic kitchens and specifically Grid Thirteen without reservation; a beautiful kitchen and a great experience.

We have carried out an extensive renovation and extension project at our new home to create an open plan family room, kitchen and dining room.
Natalie visited site before any work had commenced and we chatted through our ideas and how we wanted to utilise the space.

When we first walked in to Grid Thirteen we had no intention of buying a kitchen. We had found a kitchen elsewhere and had been deliberating for a good few weeks between two as one was bespoke and the other a German-made kitchen. Both were top quality kitchens and we had finally decided on that day to go with the bespoke. My husband persuaded me to go into Grid Thirteen ‘just to have a look’ and I finally agreed thinking I may get some ideas.
From the moment we entered the showroom Natalie and Tony were extremely friendly and welcoming mixed with a soft sell approach. I explained we had already chosen a kitchen and wasn’t sure why we were there at all! However, Siematic speaks for itself and the showroom was very enticing.
We clicked straight away, I could tell Natalie was on my wavelength, having similar taste and I knew, after only a few minutes, I could work well with her.
It was Friday afternoon and within minutes I found myself telling Natalie what our budget was and she offered to come up the next morning to measure up and give us a plan and price with no obligation. She arrived bang on time at 9am on Saturday morning. By Monday morning she emailed us a price and plan and both my husband and I knew we were sold on it, there was no deliberation like we had over the other two. We had agreed the order by Tuesday afternoon!
We were renovating the whole downstairs of our house and subsequently gave her the study (also Siematic) and the lounge to do (a media unit).
We put our utmost trust in Natalie and she didn’t let us down. She runs everything with military precision and expects the same back in return so everything turns up on the day it is supposed to. It wasn’t an easy job for her as she was having to deal with our own building contractors, plumbers, electrician etc. she more or less co-ordinated everyone and they didn’t know what had hit them!
We are only two months living with our new kitchen and every morning I come down and still feel a glow as I walk in to my beautiful room. I would not hesitate to recommend Natalie, Tony and Grid Thirteen to anyone looking for a well-designed, top quality kitchen, in fact I already have.

Having planned our new build project with our architect over several months, once planning permission was granted we started to consider the kitchen layout.
Our kitchen is an integral part of a large open plan space – essentially the hub of the home, a place to cook, relax, eat & entertain, therefore the design had to have meticulous attention to detail to create this multi-functional space.
As the builder of the house, I know first-hand how well things have to be planned, in particular the importance of the schedule of works and communications.

When it came to buying a new kitchen we really had no idea what the fundamental differences were in the products we were looking at. We had established that most of the German kitchens were going to offer us the quality we were looking for but beyond that, what really were the differences between all these manufacturers?
Then we met Natalie. She had the most unbelievable product knowledge in comparison to any of the other designers we met. She listened to our wish list and gave us solutions to all the frustrations we had had with our previous kitchen. Her design skills, visualisation of space and ability to make every inch of the kitchen a working, functional space were utterly invaluable. When you are spending such a large chunk of money in a single room in your house you have to completely trust your designer and that trust we had in Natalie never wavered.
Any problems were dealt with immediately and in the end we were absolutely delighted with our kitchen.
We felt confident that we were spending only what we needed to spend to get our kitchen as we wanted it and were not pressurised to buy gimmicky extras that we didn’t need
The follow up care and attention were second to none. Nothing was ever too much trouble for Natalie and she was a presence on site up until the very end of the project.
She is constantly mindful (even 18 months after installation) of any events at the showroom that may be of interest to us and still invites us to cookery demonstrations, product demos and much more

As a family of five, with a large extended family, we wanted a stunning but timeless kitchen to contrast and complement our grade two listed property. We needed an intuitive space that was easy to work and socialise in without compromising on the design aesthetic. The ultra-thin quatrz work tops and aluminium finishes really make an impression.
Nat really invested time to deeply understand our brief and shared her vision for our dream kitchen. The end result is amazingly easy to keep clean and to live with. She made excellent suggestions for the appliances and these have transformed our enjoyment of using the kitchen, in particular the pyrolitic oven, coffee machine, Franke hot tap and warming drawers.
