Design Journey.
Every project begins with understanding your vision. Our design process is structured to refine your brief, explore ideas, and present a carefully considered concept. We take the time to ensure every detail aligns with your needs, giving you the clarity and confidence to move forward.
Consultation.
Visit us at the studio to discuss your project over coffee. We’ll guide you through displays, the latest furniture concepts, top appliance brands, and cutting-edge technology. A thorough design brief is key to understanding your unique lifestyle, ensuring we tailor each project to your needs while addressing design issues, timescales, and budgets from the start.
Design Presentation.
Based on a detailed brief, our design team will present your project concept, including scaled drawings, elevations, rendered visuals, and mood boards with suggested finishes. You’ll be guided through your bespoke design, exploring beautiful material options tailored to your style. A detailed specification and comprehensive quote will be provided for your consideration.
Follow Up Meeting.
After reviewing your feedback on the concept, we refine the layout and materials, presenting you with the final design and quote for approval. By this point, you’ll have all the information needed to make an informed decision to proceed. Following the signing of contracts, there will still be opportunities to adjust the specification if needed.
Concept To Completion.

Welcome Pack.
Once you’ve confirmed to proceed with us, you’ll receive our Welcome Pack, which will guide you through the next steps of your project. This includes a clear overview of the process after signing the contract, a scheduled site survey to take measurements and assess your space, along with the final specification sign-off, at which point design, materials, and dimensions are agreed and confirmed in preparation for production. The Welcome Pack also includes a scope of works, outlining tasks Grid Thirteen is responsible for, along with what the client needs to arrange, a schedule of works detailing the timeline and responsibilities leading to installation, and important information regarding the contract, site access, and installation preparations.
Project Co-Ordination & Installation.
We manage every aspect of your project, ensuring a seamless process from design to completion. Our team coordinates associated trades, while our expert installers work to the highest standards. With a clean site policy, full insurance, and a two-year workmanship guarantee, you can trust us to deliver with precision and care.
After-Care.
Once your project is complete, our commitment doesn’t end. We’ll follow up to ensure you’re fully satisfied with the result. If any adjustments are needed or if you’d like to make future additions, we’re here to help. As a valued client, you’ll enjoy ongoing support, including a personalized follow-up, exclusive invites to showroom events like cookery demos, and our finishing touches service to perfect every detail.
